My name is Gordon Holtslander.
This is me thinking through the complexities of the second half of my life. Some of those complexities include:
- being male in North America
- interested in technology
- less physically active than is helpful
- loving my family
- practicing my faith
Though not necessarily in that, or any other, order.
I am married to a fabulous woman and have been for more than 30 years. We have 3 grown kids. They are all interesting, imaginative, wonderful, loving people that I am delighted to call friends as well as family.
My daytime gig is as the communications and technology guy at my church in Saskatoon. And while that is totally the case, no one there is responsible for anything you read on this site except me. The things I say here are never official in the context of my employer.
In my off hours I enjoy helping a variety of non-profits, academics and micro-business organizations get their heads around communication and technology in the modern age. So, those complexities may come up as well.
I have no particular agenda here. I am literally thinking in public as I endeavor to be the best me, husband, father, brother, follower of Jesus, Canadian, world citizen, that I can be. I’d be delighted, and honored, if you joined me on that journey.
I want to reiterate again, that this is my personal website. The opinions I express here are not intended to represent those of my employer, clients, or family.
